The Reception Team have been instructed by the GP Partners to ask their patients a couple of non intrusive questions for them to be able to give you access to the most appropriate clinician on the day.

Nurse Practitioners can treat acute (or short-term) illnesses such as upper respiratory infections, ear infections, rashes, and urinary tract infections. The Community Team are part of our Primary Health Care Team, however the Health Visitors and District nurse team are employed by the NHS Milton Keynes and the Midwife is employed by Milton Keynes Hospital Trust
Here at Westcroft Health Centre we have our own stop smoking advisor Susan Ashman who is available to support you to stop smoking. Susan is an accredited stop smoking advisor with experience in helping other people like you to quit.
Susan can see you weekly or as appropriate to advise you and either supply licensed, regulated nicotine containing products to help you stop smoking or advise you on using an electronic device alongside regulated products. She can advise on simple lifestyle changes and tips that can make quitting a lot easier than going it alone.

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 4 weeks before you travel. If you have access to our online booking system you are able to book your appointment in the specified travel slot ONLY.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

A Private Prescription is needed for Malaria tablets
prescription fee is £10.00.
A course of Hepatitis B (3 injections)
will be chargeable at £33 per vaccination, payable at the start of the course
Men C AWY is a single vaccination
will be charged at £55 per vaccination
We do not give live vaccinations such as Yellow Fever, you will need to contact a yellow fever centre.
